Brandi is about 2 years old. Brandi is currently working on learning to get along with other dogs, and she can do it. Staff and a Board Member have been working with Brandi on her socializiation skills with other canines. It has been noticed that she seems to do better with male dogs. When you come in to meet Brandi, let a staff member bring her to you to meet. Brandi is very protective of her pen, plus she is fearful of people. The two in combination, make her seem aggressive in her pen. She IS NOT an agressive girl. We feel that there is abuse in her history, causing her fear. A volunteer noticed, upon taking her for a walk one day, that she is deathly afraid of sticks, to the point of cowering, and trying to get away. No walking sticks can be used on hikes. You will need to become acquainted with, and get to know Brandi, before she will accept you. After she sees that you are OK, she will warm up to you, and lean on you and be very sweet. She is submissive at times, and will even creep around on her belly. Brandi is spayed!!!!!!
